To our valued patient,
To be more accessible to you and your family, our providers have made
arrangements with a group in Asheville to assist our patients who require in-patient care
at Mission-St. Joseph hospital.
Asheville Hospitalist Group is a local group of internal medicine specialists known as "hosptialists"
that provide in-patient care while you are in the hospital. If you are an adult and require a
hospital admission and/or in-patient care, an Asheville Hospitalist Group physician will oversee your treatment
while you are in the hospital.
The Mountain Area Family Health Center, a local group of licenced resident and faculty
physicians, will be providing in-patient hospital care for newborns and children under the age
of 18 and requiring hospital admission and/or in-patient care.
If you or your loved one is in the hospital, be assured that there will be ongoing communication
between your provider at Weaverville Family Medicine and the physician providing your care in
the hospital.
Please feel free to discuss any questions you have regarding hospital care with your provider.
